After being a Business Administration apprentice, Vicki progressed onto the Foundation Degree in Business and Management at Huish Business School.

Vicki studied part time whilst working full time, and in 2011 achieved a Distinction.

After this, Vicki progressed on to ‘top up’ this degree on a part time BA Honours programme. In 2013 she gained a First.

When asked, Vicki said about her time at Huish

I have always had a background in business and administration and felt the FdA was a perfect opportunity to gain greater skills and higher level qualifications.

I was slightly apprehensive before starting the course, however, the tutors were extremely supportive and have offered superb teaching and continuous advice and guidance throughout.

I chose to study at Richard Huish due to the flexibility offered through the part-time study option. I was able to continue in full-time employment, which allowed me to gain valuable work experience at the same time as studying for the FdA.
