Sara Leather is about to embark on the second year of the Foundation Degree in Early Years, and intends to progress to the BA Honours Top-Up Degree. Her goal is to become a Primary School Teacher.

I initially trained as an accountant, but realised after the birth of my daughter that I love being around children. It’s difficult to achieve a balance between work, family and study, but everyone has been so supportive.

Being able to put my learning into practice, in my job at the pre-school, is immensely rewarding.
